Horizon OS — Last updated: September 28, 2026 · Effective date: September 8, 2026
Any payment you make to Horizon OS — your first one or a renewal — can be refunded in full if you ask within 14 days of the charge. You don’t have to give a reason.
Horizon OS is a small app made by one person. We would rather give someone their money back than keep money from someone who doesn’t want the product. If you paid and you’re not happy, email us within 14 days and we will refund you in full — no forms, no explanation, no exit survey.
Everything below is the detail. If any of it ever contradicts the paragraph above, the paragraph above wins.
“In full” means the whole amount you were charged, including any tax collected. It is returned to the payment method you used.
It means we do not ask you why. We do not ask how much you used the app, we do not ask you to try a call first, and we do not offer you a discount to stay before processing the refund. You ask, we refund.
You are welcome to tell us what went wrong, and it genuinely helps — but it is not a condition and the refund does not wait on it.
Email support@horizon-os.app with the subject line “Refund”, from the email address on the account or the one on your receipt. Include your order or receipt number if you have it — it makes it faster, but we can find you without it.
You can also request a refund directly through Paddle using the link on your receipt.
We reply within two business days, usually the same day.
Once approved, Paddle issues the refund to your original payment method. Paddle’s side is normally immediate; your bank or card issuer then takes its own time, typically 3–10 business days, occasionally longer for some international cards. That part is outside our control and outside Paddle’s.
Your subscription is cancelled at the same time, so you are not charged again.
The 14-day trial does not ask for a card and does not charge anything, at the start or at the end. If you don’t subscribe, no money ever moves, so there is nothing to refund. A trial that ends is not a charge.
In practice this means you can have four weeks at no risk: fourteen days of trial with no card, and then fourteen days after paying in which you can still change your mind.
After 14 days we don’t refund the period you’ve already bought, and we don’t pro-rate an annual plan you cancel in the middle. What you can always do is cancel: you keep access until the end of the period you paid for, and you are not charged again.
If something is genuinely wrong — the app was broken for you, you were charged for something you never had — write to us anyway. This is a policy, not a wall.
If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, the law gives you 14 days to withdraw from a contract made online, counted from when the contract was concluded. Our promise above is deliberately the same length and deliberately simpler: we do not ask you to waive anything, we do not charge you for the days you used, and we do not ask you to sign anything to get immediate access.
In other words, you do not have to work out whether you are exercising a statutory right or taking us up on a promise. Both get you the same thing: all of your money back, within 14 days, on request.
Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under the consumer law of the country you live in. Where that law gives you more than this policy does, that law applies.
We would rather list these than pretend they don’t exist:
That is the whole list. There is nothing here about how much of the app you used, how many days are left, or whether you had a good reason.
A refund, a cancellation and a trial that ended all leave your data exactly where it was. Nothing is deleted because you stopped paying.
You can download all of it — every day record, journal entry, ritual and note, as a single file — at any time, including after your access ends. That export is not something we can take away, and it is not conditional on anything.
If you would rather your account and everything in it were deleted, ask and we will do it. See the Privacy Policy.
Horizon OS is built and operated by Ofek Hadar, sole trader, an individual developer.
Subscriptions are sold by Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record. Paddle is the seller shown on your receipt and on your card statement, and Paddle is the party that actually moves the money when a refund is approved. We authorise it; Paddle executes it. We never hold or see your card details.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. A change never applies retroactively: the policy that was published on the day you paid is the one that covers that payment.
