1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Horizon OS, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the service.
2. Description of Service
Horizon OS is a personal life management web application developed and operated by Ofek Hadar. The service includes:
- Morning and evening ritual tracking
- Habit tracking with streaks
- Daily journaling
- Financial management (income, expenses, savings, subscriptions)
- Calendar integration with Google Calendar
- AI-powered life coaching
- Goal setting and vision planning
The app is currently in BETA. Features may be added, changed, or removed as the product evolves.
3. Account Registration
- You must sign in using Google OAuth to create an account
- You must provide accurate and current information
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- One account per person — do not create multiple accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old to use Horizon OS
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Horizon OS for personal, lawful purposes only. You must not:
- Attempt to access other users' data or accounts
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or exploit the application
- Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to extract data from the service
- Use the app to store illegal, harmful, or offensive content
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
- Share your account credentials with others
5. Intellectual Property
- Horizon OS, its design, code, branding, and documentation are owned by Ofek Hadar
- User-generated content (journal entries, habits, financial data, etc.) remains the property of the user
- You grant Horizon OS a limited license to store and process your content solely to provide the service to you
- This license terminates when you delete your account
6. AI Coach Disclaimer
The AI Coach feature provides general guidance and encouragement. Please understand:
- The AI Coach is NOT a substitute for professional medical, financial, psychological, or legal advice
- Coaching suggestions are generated by AI and may not always be accurate or appropriate
- Use coaching suggestions at your own discretion and judgment
- Horizon OS is not responsible for decisions made based on AI coaching
- If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a professional or emergency services
7. Financial Tracking Disclaimer
- Financial features are for personal tracking purposes only
- Horizon OS is not a financial advisor, accountant, or tax service
- We do not provide investment, tax, or financial planning advice
- All financial data entered is self-reported and not verified by Horizon OS
- Do not rely solely on Horizon OS for financial decision-making
8. Beta Disclaimer
Horizon OS is currently in beta. As such:
- The app is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind
- We make no guarantees of uptime, data preservation, or feature availability
- Features may change, be added, or removed without prior notice
- Bugs and unexpected behavior may occur
- We strongly recommend regular data backups (Settings → Data → Download backup)
9. Data & Privacy
- Your data is governed by our Privacy Policy
- We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties
- You can export your data at any time via the in-app backup feature
- You can delete your account and all associated data at any time
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
- Horizon OS is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
- We are not liable for any data loss, service interruptions, or damages arising from your use of the service
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Our maximum aggregate liability is limited to the total amount you have paid for the service (currently $0 during beta)
11. Termination
- You can delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
- Upon termination, your data is permanently deleted from our systems
- Provisions regarding liability, disclaimers, and intellectual property survive termination
12. Pricing & Payments (Future)
- Current beta users have free access to all features
- Pricing will be introduced when the app exits beta
- Beta users will be notified in advance before any charges apply
- No credit card is required during the beta period
- Money-back guarantee details will be provided at launch
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of Horizon OS after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Israel. Any disputes arising from these terms or the use of Horizon OS shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts in Israel.
